Preventative care is a key to better health and a long life; when you discuss your health
with your primary care physician and make a plan to maintain or improve your health.

As a primary care provider with over 30 years of practice I have had the pleasure to
help my patients understand their medical family history, screen for any health diseases
to prevent future health issues. Outline a personalized health plan based on any
changes in their personal health risk factors.
 
Obesity is the most prevalent chronic condition in our society according to the American
Board of Obesity Medicine. The disease of obesity is currently linked to 13 different
types of cancer and over 200 complications that affect 11 different organ systems.
Obesity has also become the second most common preventable cause of cancer
(closely behind cigarette smoking). 
 
Because obesity can lead to a variety of additional health conditions, getting the right
treatment can help patients manage, prevent, or reduce the chances of other medical
issues such as: Cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease,
Stroke, Sleep Apnea, Liver Disease, Lung Disease, Fertility Issues, and Low Testosterone.
 
As a primary care physician it is my duty to help my patients understand how to live
