Darren Groberg, DPM, knows that foot and ankle pain can hurt a person's quality of life. Dr Groberg is proud to help patients regain their mobility and resolve their chronic pain. Dr. Groberg offers cutting-edge treatments for a wide range of podiatric problems.
Dr. Groberg completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. For medical school, he attended Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a rigorous surgical residency through the Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) Podiatry Residency Program. He currently serves as a volunteer faculty member for the Utah-based IMC program.
Dr. Groberg is board-certified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He's also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Utah Podiatric Medical Association. An experienced researcher, Dr. Groberg has participated in several studies analyzing tissue grafts and wound care.
Recently he has been able to expand his office to include additional treatment rooms for Dr Christian Smith a new associate as well as provide space for in-office MRI services.
A lifelong Utah resident, Dr. Groberg is an active member of the Salt Lake City community. When not assisting patients, he enjoys being outdoors, especially fishing, and spending time with his wife and children.

I've had two foot surgeries with Dr. Groberg (along with some other mishaps he addressed like an ankle sprain and an ingrown toenail). He's great. He takes his time. Explains everything and has a good sense of humor.

Dr Groberg has a much better angle to attack my less-than-perfect toenails than I do. His recommendations for treatment are always helpful. My body (including my feet) reminds me often that I'm no longer a spring chicken and to go easy on it. I appreciated him saying "Keep up the good work" to me during our most recent encounter.

Dr. G has performed multiple surgeries on my feet and each surgery was successful and greatly improved my quality of life. All of the people in his office have been professional and approachable. I highly recommend him and his practice.
