Dr. Preece completed his undergraduate degree at Utah State University in Logan, Utah graduating as Valedictorian of his department. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, graduating summa cum laude and as class valedictorian. He performed his residency through the Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) Foot and Ankle Podiatric Surgery Program in Salt Lake City.Â
Dr. Preece is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He's a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medicine Association, as well as a previous board member of the Utah Podiatric Medical Association. As a volunteer faculty member at IMC Podiatry Residency Program, he provides surgical and clinical training for podiatry residents.Â
A noted lecturer, Dr. Preece has delivered more than 10 case presentations at the IMC Podiatric Residency Program. He's proud to work with students and develop training materials for the next generation of podiatrists.Â
Recently he has been able to expand his office to include additional treatment rooms for Dr Christian Smith a new associate as well as provide space for in-office MRI services.
When he isn't lecturing or helping patients, Dr. Preece enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
