Courtney Schlenker Nowicki, DDS, MS, FICOI, provides patients of all ages with the highest quality of dental care in a patient-oriented environment at the Center for Dental Excellence East Lake in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Dr. Nowicki is a native of Wapakoneta, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Toledo. After graduating, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in the top 5% of her class.
Dr. Nowicki completed her residency in general practice, training in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, implants, root canals, and dental reconstruction. Therefore, she can offer a wide range of treatment options to patients that would, in many offices, be referred out.
She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and the Academic Honor Society (equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa in dentistry). She also completed the University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (GPR).
Dr. Nowicki received training in the DAWSON & L.D. Pankey restorative dental principles. In 2015, she received The International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award, The Virginia Dental Association Mission of Mercy Award of Excellence, and The Brown Award.
Dr. Nowicki and her husband, Josh, are extremely busy keeping up with their little kids, Cameron and Hayes. In her little remaining free time she enjoys traveling, running, and any outdoor adventure to take advantage of the Florida sunshine.

Dr. Nowicki is a fantastic dentist! She takes her time and actually listens to any concerns you may have. I would recommend her 100 percent. Her staff is wonderful as well.

Doctor Nowicki Is undoubtedly the Best Dentist I have been to. Her professionalism and make you feel comfortable are outstanding. She explains in great detail what she is doing. Painless and reassuring during all my visits have made if a Great Experience The support staff and front desk staff are all top notch Although we all know how going to the Dentist can be Scarey You know what I mean. Everyone I came into contact with at Center for Dental Excellence East Lake was amazing. I was greeted by name each time I walked into the office. And before I left every visit, Dr. Nowicki always made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I always knew what to expect. Everything about this dental practice is top notch! I am a patient for life!
I am frightful of having dental work done without sedation. It hasn't been a problem here. I had a crown done for my most recent visit and had absolutely no pain during or after. There was a little twitch with the shot she gave me in my gum but it was very brief. I am always treated like a queen. I am always taken at my appointed time. The staff does a great scheduling job and tries really hard to ensure that my insurer pays what I am owed. Dr. Nowick is professional, kind, understanding and a joy to have as a dentist.
I have had a great experience with the entire staff at this practice. Thank you all for making an unpleasant situation tolerable.
Dr. Nowicki and the whole staff is great. I've seen her for all my dental work over the last couple years from a regular exam with x-rays to a crown and more extensive work.
