Before I ever saw Dr Coral Spicer she read my records from my prior doctor. She then took time out of her already full schedule to fit me in and listened with care and empathy to ever concern I brought up. She addressed each issShow moreue kindly. Coral Spicer, MD, joined the Physicians and Surgeons for Women practice in Springfield, Ohio, in 2013. Board certified in Obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Spicer returned to her hometown of Springfield after completing her education to care for her community.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in biology, summa cum laude from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, Dr. Spicer went on to Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree. Upon completion, Dr. Spicer completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2013.
Throughout her education, Dr. Spicer received numerous awards, including the prestigious Nicholas J. Thompson Award for excellence in the study of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Spicer was also nominated for the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her exemplary service, integrity, clinical excellence, and compassion.
Dr. Spicer’s work focuses on delivering outstanding gynecological care to her patients, including high and low-risk pregnancy care, work up and treatment of abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and performing minimally invasive surgeries. She writes protocols to ensure up to date and high quality care throughout the practice and creates projects to increase efficiency for the office. Dr. Spicer’s patients appreciate her compassion, her willingness to listen to their concerns, and focus on their needs.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Spicer enjoys spending time with her husband and spoiling their shih tzu, Lula. She also enjoys traveling, reading and gardening.

Excellent
The receptionist was very rude I was 3 minutes late for my 1st appt as a new patient and I was told that I could not even be seen WOW only 3 minutes late there was no consideration that we had bad roads and bad weather and i was offered a diff appt but it over 2 weeks away 3/10/25 I could not accept that appointment because i already have another appt on the same day so i asked the receptionist if i could schedule something else for March and she flat out said NO I would need to schedule for April so i said OK that’s fine with me and then she said that I would need to call back to schedule because their calendar was not set up for April myself and my husband too time off work for this appt, we both wasted time and energy coming to the office this is no way to treat a prospective new patient

She has a pleasant bedside manner. Performed my radical hysterectomy, and my recovery has been easy with mild pain. I definitely recommend her.

I have had the best experience with Dr Spicer! I have not been to the gym for around 24 years and she made this a good experience. Even though I have just had a total hysterectomy the stay and surgery was amazing! She was gracious and caring.
