About Christy Jones, APRN

Angela Christine “Christy” Jones, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Arkansas. She graduated from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in 1995 with a diploma RN and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Memphis in 1997. In 2017, Christy graduated from the University of Memphis’ Loewenberg College of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing, with focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

She has worked in many specialty areas, including Intensive Care and Management, with most of her career spent in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. During this time, she cared for many types of post-surgical patients, with the majority being general surgery and orthopaedic cases.

Christy is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, holding specialty Orthopaedic membership. She certified as a Fracture Liaison Specialist in 2018 with the National Osteoporosis Foundation.

Christy grew up in Memphis, TN. She relocated to Marion, AR after meeting her husband, Steve, in 1995. She has two teenage daughters with which she spends most of her time. She enjoys going to the lake and relaxing on the porch with family and friends.
