I called on a Wednesday and had the MRI Sunday. $350 US While leaving I Show morenoticed Dr. Christopher Elia’s office, spinal and neural surgeon. Checked out reviews, training and expertise was seen within 2 weeks $250 US Excellent consult, solid diagnosis and treatment plan. No surgery advised. Recommended treatment plan to my MD which can b i ON
This was a seamless, well run and positive experience. I had imaging tests followed by an appointment one week later with Dr. Elia. He discussed my results and showed me the details on screen as well as giving me an examination.Show more He outlined the options available to me in a clear, open and professional manner. I was very pleased with my experience and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Elia to anyone requiring his services and expertise. Also, his staff was very professional and kind.

The best doctor in Michigan

The staff is Friendly but professional. Waiting time of 15 minutes or less for my appointment was reasonable. Dr Elia explained and used a spine model to help me understand exactly what needed to be done. I was given recovery guidelines and physical therapy to follow. Just don’t miss place the PA’s phone number. She can help with concerns and medication refills. I will definitely see Dr. Christopher again in the future if needed.

Very disappointing and negative experience .I went with very high hopes after reading some of the reviews on google , I really went to essentially seek alternative options other than surgery ,He was rushing , not passionate, not caring about discussing my concerns . whatever I tell him he gave fast response I am not , I was trying to share with him my medical history , that I have chronic stress , He didnt care but to respond I am not a neurologist ,im not a TMJ , I am not this i'm not that
Dr Elia was friendly and caring. He went over so much more than the first surgeon I saw. I felt much better about my situation after I left. I did make the change and decided to have Dr Elia perform my surgery.

Dr. Elia took the time to listen to me 1:1 after having some post surgery issues and fears. He is an excellent surgeon and has a dedicated staff as well that helped with all my questions and with my disability paperwork.
Kind office staff. Did not feel rushed or uncomfortable. Dr. Elia was attentive and listened to my concerns. This was my first visit. I will know more after my return visit to review some tests.

My appointment was thorough, effective and Dr. Elia and his staff are friendly, professional and they even offer wayer and Keurig coffee for their patients and caregivers! Highly recommend this practice for neurosurgery needs.

Dr.Elia was very thorough with all my scans and very caring . Finally found a doctor I feel comfortable doing my surgery. I drove 3 hrs to see him and was well worth it .
Dr. Elia is personable, extremely knowledgeable AND gives each patient the amount of time they need. This is based on multiple visits (including today) and surgery on L3 that allowed me to regain my ability to sit, stand and walk after SIX WEEKS OF BEING UNABLE TO DO IT. Dr. Elia is a modern miracle worker.

One of the country's best Neurosurgeon who sincerely cares with an equally superb staff who's professional and knowledgeable. You may have to exercise some patience when it comes to getting through to his office because there's not enough of them to keep up with our ever so demanding pain management and medical needs!! Lol From a very satisfied patient.
