Christina takes a collaborative approach and uses evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and also orients with solution focused, family systems and person-centered therapy. Her goal is to build trust and create a safe space where you, the client, can feel open sharing your authentic thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Her aim is to help improve personal relationships, address difficult emotional problems, and help the individual become more self-aware.
Christina believes that so often our past can interfere with our present lives, and we can find ourselves reliving the same pain. Therefore, through personal exploration and counseling, a deeper understanding can be attained, and the sense of self can be strengthened to work on moving beyond the difficult emotional concerns. She passionately believes that you cannot go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.
