I am so lucky to find Dr O after having such bad experiences with other doctors. At first I was very skeptical and being someone who has medical knowledge I can see easily when a doctor is not doing what they are suppose to. That Show morewas not the case with Dr O ...he is very comforting and listens to you . He does extensive lab work and makes sure you are comfortable with your decisions. After getting my myomectomy done 5 days ago I am barely in pain and overall extremely happy with him doing my surgery. It is a little travel for me to come and see him but I think it's worth it to be able to get good services. Thank you Dr O for just being a great doctor and I would refer him to any woman but I would especially refer him to my fellow women of color.
Chike Obianwu, MD, serves Alliance OB/GYN, located in Hainesport and Delran, New Jersey, as board-certified OB/GYN and cosmetic surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery, and a special interest in fibroid management. He also has extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics.
Dr. Obianwu received in Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Tulsa University, before going on to get his doctorate of medicine from Ross University. Following medical school, Dr. Obianwu completed a fellowship in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Obianwu is a Fellow of the American College of Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Cosmetic Surgery. He’s also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and American Academy for Cosmetic Surgeons.
Before joining the team at Alliance OB/GYN, Dr. Obianwu worked in academics for over 20 years. During that time, he taught, among other places, at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo New York, as a clinical assistant professor. Today, he spends some time as a clinical assistant professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
From 2006 to 2016, Dr. Obianwu worked as the chief of Obstetrics at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. While there, he sat on several committees, took on a variety of leadership roles, and piloted the hospital’s da Vinci® robotic surgery program. He continues to serve on the Virtua Hospital Robotic Steering Committee.

I was recommended to Dr. Obianwu through my obgyn. From the first call, his staff was incredibly accommodating, and didn't make you feel like just another patient. They scheduled me very quickly for my appointments. Dr. Obianwu took time to go through my history and answer all of my questions. My procedure was in-office. The surgery suite exceeded my expectations. My recovery was fast and smooth. Thank you to Dr. O and the entire staff!
The receptionist was very understanding, When I got there late.... Adding to the fact, I didn't have an active health insurance didn't stop her from having me seen by my docttor. Thanks to her

Personable, caring and great doctor overall
Dr. O, performed all my 3 kids deliveries via C-section and I was confident in him with my hysterectomy procedure. I was in and out within ours and returned home to recover with minimal pain. Thanks to the team at Alliance OBGYN.
