About Cheryl "Charlie" Jeter, MSN, NP-C

Cheryl obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 1988. She served as an active duty U.S. Navy Nurse Corps officer for 10 years, serving in Washington DC, Japan, and Florida.

She served on the USNS Comfort during its deployment to the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. After leaving the Navy she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University, and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2000. Cheryl has practiced in the area of Pain Management for the last 15 years, and has been with Gershon Pain Specialists since 2007.

She and her husband Mike spend their leisure time enjoying competitive Trap and Skeet Shooting. Cheryl was the Captain of the Virginia State Ladies trap shooting team in 2013.
