I love the treatment you get from Dr Cheema, the nurses and other employees who work in the office and the surgicenter. The Illinois Digestive Disease Specialists, also, are very knowledgeable and care about their patients. Would Show morenot want to go anywhere else for treatment.

About Dr. Cheema
Dr. Cheema earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center and Cornell University, NY. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition, Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasound at Loyola University Chicago, IL.
He is Board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition and his clinical interests include treatment of Acid reflux, Constipation, Hemorrhoids and Small Bowel Imaging. As a Fellow AGA he trained in General GI, Hepatology, Nutrition, ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound.
He has been in practice in the Quad Cities and Clinton for over 11 years. In addition to English, he is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
Dr. Cheema is married and has four children.

Dr. Cheema reviewed my health history and ordered additional lab and radiology testing due to my most resent elevated lab work previously ordered by my PCP.
Started pretty much on time, asked a lot of questions and gave a list of upcoming suggestions and plans .

Other than the wait it was an exceptional visit. At least 30 minures after my appointed time. I watched everyone being called wven thoughvthey arrived after me. I thought may e they forgot me. Dr. Cheema addressed my issues thoroughly. He explained things to me that I wish had been addressed after my last colonoscopy. Specially why o needed ones 6 Mos apart and promoted me to start using the medication. I misunderstood why it was prescribed. Staff was cordial, friendly, while being very professional Over all I would highly recommend dds to anyone with issues such as mine.
