After obtaining an associate’s degree from Modesto Junior College in California, Mrs. Diaz went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at California State University, Bakersfield. After gaining professional experience as a nurse, Mrs. Diaz returned to California State University, Bakersfield, to complete the Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, program.
Mrs. Diaz has gained valuable experience working in many capacities throughout her career, including for the state of California for 22 years as a family nurse practitioner, as well as working in clinical care with several local medical practices. Mrs. Diaz also has work experience in the areas of nursing education, home health, labor and delivery, medical staff management, dialysis, and public health.
