Professional, kind practitioner. I am new to her practice, but I am looking forward to working with her.
Very matter-of-fact and authentic, she doesn't tell you what you necessarily want to hear—excellent counseling skills, very astute. I appreciate her professionalism and candor.

Professional experience
I appreciated Carol’s no-nonsense, say-it-as-I-see-it approach to my first session.
Best money I’ve ever spent. EMDR therapy is WORKING. I feel my confusion and anger and fear as a small child, work through it with Carol, and come to an adult understanding of my false beliefs. And … I let them go.
Carol really helps you get to work as you share your story. Can’t recommend her enough!
Excellent experience. Waiting room is calm and uncluttered, front desk person friendly, and the facility fosters the safety needed for hard emotional work. Carol S is a gem, with excellent re-direction and time awareness skills. I look forward to continuing into the EMDR stage of therapy.
I had been through therapy but it never seemed to resolve my cores issues. Working with Carol Seydewitz was not always easy but the introduction of emdr to the therapy sessions moved me through some walls I couldn’t seem to penetrate with traditional therapy. I feel like I have made great progress in 5 months. I‘m not saying I will never have problems that are difficult for me to resolve but I feel I have the tools and awareness to approach my challenges more confidently. Thanks Carol & emdr!
I’ve been going to Carol on and off for years. She is so insightful and helps me be a stronger more confident version of myself. I’m very thankful for her.
Carol is sensitive and respectful. I am learning a lot about myself in a safe, gentle environment.
Good sessions, each one gets better and better
Carol has changed my life. I am able to look at myself and radically accept myself while pushing to be a better and more balanced person.
Carol is an excellent therapist-respectful, insightful, and knowledgeable. She listened and helped me become more self aware and recognize effective ways to work through both everyday challenges and stressful situations. I am very happy with the care I received and very grateful.
I have finally found a good fit. I am seeing the benefits of working with Carol in all aspects of my life.
I love how everything is explained so well to me
Carol met my expectations on our first visit - prepared and helpful.
Carol listened well. I felt confident in her understanding of the situation.
The correct therapist is critical to mental wellness. Carol has been a perfect fit for my needs. I am very grateful for her services.
Carol is a straight shooter as well as very compassionate. She observes and shares in a way that makes one feel like there’s a path out. I feel like she helped me drill down to what really is going on. She is very welcoming and makes me feel free to share honestly. I highly recommend her.
Carol is not only warm and friendly, she is genuinely interested and engaged. She provides informative feedback and her ability to wrap up an appointment without rushing is pretty impressive too.
It was my first visit. No hicccups.
Carol is helping me to understand so many things. She’s very observant and easy to talk to. I’m grateful.
Carol has been amazing! I've seen her for enough sessions to know that she is a compassionate, understanding, intuitive, and super smart therapist. And, while we've only just scratched the surface, she's already helped me make some pretty groundbreaking revolutions about my life, so I am really excited to continue the work we're doing together. I'm so grateful for finding Carol and for her vast experience in utilizing EMDR. I feel very comfortable in her office and very supported under her care!
Carol pushes just enough for progress to occur, not enough to cause emotional or intellectual pushback. EMDR is very productive. Be ready to change for the better, to whittle away at walls and monsters and assumptions.
It was my first experience at Pathways & it was easy to find, staff was professional & kind. Therapist, Carol, was professional, easy to talk to, honest, & helpful already in the first session.
Great experience!
Everything has been positive so far. Three weeks in and the only thing I don't like is how many reminder text & emails I get in a week.
Carol is extremely straightforward in the best way I could have hoped for. She listens while expecting you to put in the work needed to actively participate in your own healing process. She explains EMDR very well, making sure you have enough information but don't feel overwhelmed with unnecessary details. I feel 100% in charge of my therapy and fully supported in the process. She asks for input throughout the therapy sessions to make sure I feel safe and ready to keep going.
I’ve gotten more done w/ Carol + doing EMDR in 3 years than I ever did with other therapy for 10+ years. She’s precise, graceful, compassionate and wise. Caring and will never BS you. I’ve had a trustworthy therapeutic experience w/ Carol and made so much progress. She’s like a lantern in the dark. I can be proud of myself for doing the work, because she helps people empower themselves. I can start to let go of my history and live right now. And love myself. Grateful for her.
I would recommend Carol highly to others.
