Practicing for more than 15 years, Dr. Ricotti is board-certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He has a special interest in combining all clinical and pathological information about each patient’s skin health to provide the best care possible.
Dr. Ricotti completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami in Florida, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he later served as a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology. He was also a staff physician for the University of Miami Hospitals Inpatient Dermatology Unit.
In 2010, Dr. Ricotti launched Vitro Dermatopathology, a dermatopathology referral service in South Florida, which he currently directs and manages. Dr. Ricotti is also an active investigator in several clinical trials and has extensively published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and authored book chapters for dermatology texts.
He is often invited to speak on dermatological conditions, like psoriasis, eczema, and acne, at local, national, and international medical conferences.

The staff is well informed and very supportive. I forgot my reading glasses, and since I was a new patient, they helped me fill out the forms. The doctor and pa are professional and very concerned about the patients well being.
For many years I have had red spots on one arm, Dr. Ricotti has been the only one who found that it is something congenital, nothing dangerous for my health, there is no solution and this is where I appreciate his honesty, he is a great professional who really loves his work. I highly recommend it.
