He welcomes new and existing patients to Just Heart Cardiovascular Group Inc., which has locations in Baltimore Maryland.
Dr. Ezeugwu is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in West Indies, Grenada. He went through his internship and residency training through Seton Hall University at St. Joseph Hospital in New Jersey.
To gain additional training and expertise in the field of cardiology and critical care medicine, Dr. Ezeugwu completed a competitive critical care fellowship programs at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, cardiology fellowship at University at Buffalo State University of New York, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He also acquired a PhD in health services from Walden University in Minneapolis.
Dr. Ezeugwu is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in cardiovascular disease. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
Throughout his career, Dr. Ezeugwu has gained a unique combination of expertise in clinical research, patient care, leadership, and entrepreneurship, all backed with integrity and strong Christian values.
In 2006, Dr. Ezeugwu directed Just Heart Cardiovascular Group Inc.’s implementation of a high-quality state-of-the-art electronic medical record program. Dr. Ezeugwu is the founder of Just Heart Help Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to underprivileged students in the United States, Nigeria, and Zambia, to name a few.

Informative regarding my blood pressure readings (DIA) and lack of Pharmacy used for recent medicines received not reported to Dr Ezeugwu. Checking with Drs at Pharmacy about this matter. Primary Dr (Durry) advised of my appointment 4/18/2025 by Dr Ezeugwu. Staff helped with invoices needing attention (PB). No other issues during appointment (hope not). Jim B.
This office has the best bedside manner
Dr. Ezeugwu is very kind, caring and compassionate man. He is very thorough, always takes the time necessary to listen attentively to my health concerns and most importantly to find a solution to the problem. I consider myself very lucky to have him as my cardiologist.

Excellent visit and was introduced to a new remote Blood pressure machine and instructions on how to use the machine at home. Also discussed the importance of the new blood pressure medicine and how it works. Told to stop using the old blood pressure machine

Awesome the young lady who took my vitals was great. She told me what she was checking and asked if I had any questions about anything which I did not. She gave me her name but I forgot it.
