About Dr. Somerville

Dr. Caitlin Somerville brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for eye care to our practice. With a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry from West Chester University, Pennsylvania, Dr. Somerville’s foundation in science is both solid and comprehensive. She furthered her education with a Doctorate of Optometry from the esteemed New England College of Optometry in Boston.

Dr. Somerville's diverse clinical experience includes externships at the Manchester, NH VA, the Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, MA, the Philadelphia VA, and Total Eye Care Centers in Levittown, PA. This extensive background equips her to offer a full range of optometric services, from thorough adult and pediatric eye exams to the treatment and management of ocular diseases, as well as fittings for both soft and specialty contact lenses.

When she’s not helping patients see their best, Dr. Somerville stays active and engaged in her personal life. You’ll often find her training for marathons, hiking, or enjoying quality time with her beloved dog, Henry. With her running shoes always ready, she brings the same energy and dedication to her practice that she applies to her personal pursuits.
