Byron Edwards Ph.D., PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant at the Dermatology Center. HIs educational journey began at Brigham Young University where he obtained both a BS degree in psyschology (1981) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (1984). His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Yale University. After almost 10 years in a private psychology practice, he returned to school and completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine (1986). Byron has practiced dermatology for over 25 years.
He is a member of the American Psycological Association, American Acadamy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Byron is married with five children and has 10 grandchildren. He enjoys practicing medicine, activities with his family, and riding dirt bikes in the desert.

I love everyone at the dermatology center. They are so congenial and accommodating. My son has special issues and the people at the center are so kind and willing to work with him. I really appreciate them.

Dr. Edward’s has been awesome every time I’ve been to see him. He is super knowledgeable and makes each visit pleasant with his great sense of humor.
