My husband has been seeing Dr Chimenti for decades. He has always been an excellent doctors. My husband is 80 and has Alzheimer’s. He was very worried that his knee implants were failing. Dr Chimenti sat on his stool and his face Show morewas close to my husband’s face while he assured him that the implants were in great shape. He described that his muscles were causing the symptoms my husband was experiencing. He offered physical therapy if he wanted. He sincerely listened to my husband’s concerns. He made my husband feel valuable and thoroughly understood. My husband left feeling relieved. Dr Chimenti treated both my husband’s physical and mental concerns. I am grateful

Brian Chimenti, MD, is an experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in The Woodlands, Texas. He holds a certification of additional qualification in sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Chimenti was born in Houston, Texas. He graduated magna cum laude from Clear Lake High School in Houston and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors. Dr. Chimenti completed his Doctor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and finished his residency at the University of Colorado in Denver.
He completed orthopedic and sports medicine training with team physicians from the Denver Broncos, University of Colorado Buffaloes, and the Colorado Rockies. Dr. Chimenti has also served as the team physician at numerous high schools for almost three decades.
He has experience in all aspects of orthopedics and specializes in arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery. Dr. Chimenti has a strong interest and commitment to hip and knee joint replacements and reconstruction using cutting-edge technology.
Dr. Chimenti stays up-to-date with the latest advances in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He’s a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Texas Orthopaedic Association, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Chimenti served multiple years as co-chair and chief of orthopedic surgery at the Joint Center for Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands. He was nominated for Physician of the Year at Memorial Herman and recognized as a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly. Dr. Chimenti is the recipient of numerous Compassionate Doctor and Patients’ Choice awards.
He has privileges at St. Luke’s Community Medical Center of The Woodlands, Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodlands Parkway, Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands, and the Iron Man Institute.

The epitome of what an MD should be! Dr. Chimenti repaired my shoulder 18 years ago and I messed it up again! I couldn’t get in to see him as soon as I’d of liked and went to the doctor who did my knee. He said it was a bit complex for his skill set so he referred me to a specialist who said the same thing & he referred me to another specialist. Well, I didn’t align with the his guy and finally got in Dr C! Hasn’t changed over the years and is still honest, up front, and the consummate professional! The other ortho mentioned stem cells and Dr C advised that it was experimental and in “my” words complete BS! After the surgery 2 decades ago my shoulder felt brand new! Hoping for the same thing! Full confidence!

Experience was really good with Dr. Chimenti. I felt listened to and cared for, which is quite refreshing from other doctors I have seen. He gave good options to reduce my knee pain along with information and explanation. Dr. Chimenti’s assistant of 18 years was reassuring and put me at ease. The X-ray process was also efficient and I felt cared for as well. I had to fill out paperwork at the front desk, as apparently they had typed in my wrong email address when I called to make the appointment, so I never got the registration questionnaire. We resolved that at the back desk checkout. Overall, I was impressed with this medical team.
I was there today for a recheck from a total knee done 10 days before . I saw dr Chimenti’s physians assistant. I got an xrays then was seen. Wait time was normal, but iffice was very crowded. There was plenty of parking but it was very crowded in the office . Since a lot if people had their crutches scooters snd walkers, passing people in the hallways was difficult This group has very popular docturs witn a large following. I think they a bigger office is needed .
