Brent D. Michaels, DO, FAOCD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Thomas Dermatology’s Centennial Hills and Post Road offices in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a longtime resident of Nevada and graduated from high school at Bishop Gorman High School in Summerlin.
Dr. Michaels completed his undergraduate training at the University of Nevada in Reno. He also obtained a law degree and practiced in Las Vegas as a Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.
Following his career in law, Dr. Michaels completed medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. He followed with an internship and dermatology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Michaels has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Cutis, and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology.
He was a resident co-contributor on the editorial board for The Year Book of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and a contributing author for the Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy textbook.
In his spare time, Dr. Michaels enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and three beautiful daughters.

I absolutely love how friendly everyone is that works there. From the moment you walk in the reception to all of the beautiful young ladies that help in the back. Everyone's very knowledgeable and friendly its Just always such a pleasant experience and everyone is very knowledgeable. The doctor is quick and efficient!! You can tell has been doing it for a while and is extremely knowledgeable!! So friendly and personable. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone because i know they are going to get their question answered the help they need and done so witha smile. All around such a wonderful office. Im so glad i was recommended my self here by a friend!

I like the fact that Dr. Michaels through and empathetic. His staff is efficient and I am usually seen right at the time of my appointment without excessive waiting to see the doctor.
