I am seven weeks out from a Laminectomy/Discectomy performed by Dr Pearson. I am happy to say that the surgery went well and I am pain free. Dr Pearson did a great job of explaining the procedure to me beforehand, and his staff diShow mored an excellent job of following up after the surgery. I would absolutely recommend Dr Pearson to anyone who is in need of a Neurosurgeon.

Blake E. Pearson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the practice in 2011.
Dr. Pearson studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000. From there, he moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University’s School of Medicine.
For his internship and residency, Dr. Pearson relocated to Birmingham to study under the skilled staff at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Here, he was awarded Chief Resident in Neurosurgery. Today he is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center.

My experience was very good. Nurses and Dr. were very knowledgeable as well as being experienced, kind and helpful.

Dr. Pearson takes time to explain back issues and the surgical procedure to correct it. He answers any questions and it is easy to converse with him.
I'm a repeat customer lol. He did a 3level dorsal cervical fusion on me a bit over a yr ago. So my lower back is getting worse , I can't imagine anyone else more skilled in the whole south . God works through his hand. Plus his staff is fantastic. Any neurological issues and this is who I would recommend my own family to
