I am so very grateful to have found Dr. Khaleghi and his practice. Ever since I have started seeing him I feel like I am finally getting back in control of my health,my pain and fatigue and have a doctor who listens to me and is cShow moreollaborative with my treatment ever step of the way. I am able to ask all my questions and patiently be heard which is worth it’s weight in gold. He also is willing to try any treatment options available to me to help me live my best most productive pain free active lifestyle. Scheduling can take patience since he is popular as he is so good and take his time with each person when you are in the office, But I am MORE than willing to bring a book or wait an extra week to see Dr. K to have such a premium personalized professional experience. I will continue to send everyone I know looking for a Rheumatologist. Thank you for giving me my life back!!
Dr. Khaleghi is wonderful! I wish he could be my primary physician because of the amazing care and thoughtfulness he expresses when reviewing my bloodwork and discussing my health from all angles. His nurse paractioners, Janet MShow morea and Jennifer Luong, are also great to work with if he is not available or if I need an appointment right away. Also, his office staff is so professional and aleays follows-up when I have any questions or concerns right away. Everyone is patient, kind and very considerate. I am extremely happy with Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center, Dr. Khaleghi, and his entire staff. The Tustin office is beautiful, comfortable, and well-designed. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
Behnam Khaleghi, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist who blends cutting-edge technology with comprehensive patient-oriented care and is honored to serve the communities of Orange and Laguna Hills, California, at Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center.
Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

The office was full at 10am for a 10:30 appointment. I sat and waited till nearly 11am before being called in. The wait was well worth it. When Dr. Khaleghi finally got to me, he took his time, explained things in simple terms, and was patient with my questions and concerns. He was not expediting my appointment to catch up (like a lot of doctors that are behind schedule) and he truly seems to care about figuring out the core problem. While it was just an initial visit, he was a breath of fresh air compared to the turn-and-burn doctors that seem to be running rampant lately. Highly recommend (as long as you can handle a potential wait).
