I have been patient of Dr. khakeghi since 2015. He has taken care of my medical conditions in as my rheumatologist now it is 2025. That should be evidence if quality doctor who cares for his patient and take good care of them yeaShow morer after year and his accomplishments you can see on the walls in nit just me but others and reputable entities honoring him as the best rheumatologist . Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

I have been patient of doctor khakeghi almost for a decade. Dr. Khakeghi is a very nice and cordial and cares about patients and I find him very nice doctor, professional by means of evaluations through diagnostics and great booking of history of records that make evaluation reliable and knows the status of parameters affecting patient improving or degrading in my case the graph of 10 years of my lab result critical to my chronic rheumatory related problems. Very systematic and great office staff that are on top of it have me quick and response at time of critical demands. He is one of the best doctors if not the best doctor I have ever experienced as rheumatologist. Whatever is within the scope of his specialties he will take care of and if outside his specialty he provide a guidance what type of specialties are needed . He is very honest and very cordial and very professional. Do not take my words for it. I’ve been seeing doctor khaleghi for 6 years now. At first it was hard getting diagnosed with lupus but once he recommended I start benlysta things got a lot better for me. Office is always busy so a heads up, but what doctors office isn’t so just be patient bc once they get to you they listen just make sure you have everything written down that you wanna tell them.
Dr. Khaleghi took the time to explain the progression of my condition, and he told me ways that I could delay the progression of the condition. He took time to listen and understand my concerns.
