I can not say how much I enjoyed meeting Dr. White and his office staff. I work in the OR and I have never met a podiatrist in which I have been so confident. I have put off dealing with my bunions but i was told by the chiropracShow moretor that there is a good chance my upper back and hip issues are from my feet. After reviewing my x rays with Dr. White, I am a believer. He is so knowledgeable and speaks with authority which put me at ease. I am now ready for Lapiplasty on both feet.
Today was my first visit to Coastal Maine Foot & Ankle and it was a great experience. The receptionist, to the assistant & Bruin the beautiful chocolate labrador to Dr. White - everyone was friendly and explained everythiShow moreng in detail about my bunion issues. Dr. White was highly recommended to me by Southern Maine Health Care and I am happy they did. I can see myself referring others to him if they ever have foot & ankle issues. Thank you, Kathy S

This was my first visit to Coastal Foot & Ankle. Though my appointment was late morning, Barry saw me on schedule and dealt with me promptly. His diagnosis and communication were clear and incisive. His support staff was cheerful and engaging and Bear, the Chocolate Lab, was friendly but respectful. As nice a doctor's office visit as I've ever had.
Dr. White and his staff are very professional yet the atmosphere in that office is very relaxing, I'm never anxious going there, the people are so nice but I especially love Bruin
Staff courteous and respectful. Dr White was professional, thoughtful of my concerns and offered a well thought out plan for my care with an excellent explanation of how it will evolve.
I called for an appointment as a new patient and they were able to fit me in the schedule a few days later. X-Rays right on the spot and treatment regimen provided! Great experience
Professional, honest, highly knowledgeable, Empathy, knows when to take a person to surgery.
Very relaxed & laid back atmosphere in the office, even has his dog Bruin to welcome you when you arrive. Excellent service.
Dr. White is very attentive, also takes time to answer questions about my upcoming surgery.

I needed to get in quickly, was fit in to the schedule, he evaluated my foot , had an xray and was given a plan of care. Office staff Becky and Hanna were very professional, friendly and a joy to talk with. It was a great experience as always !

I recently received the bunion surgery on my right foot at the Mercy hospital. Surgery went well and I have been very comfortable since the surgery. I can honestly say that I experienced no pain post surgery (pain threshold is different for everyone and I only used the heavy narcotics for only 1 day after the surgery.) I am a big fan of Dr. White and his office. Also shout out to the Mercy team, they were awesome!

Nice experience with experienced staff
I was able to get in very quickly to get some much needed relief for my foot! The care was great, patient education was clear, facility was clean. And a cute lab for a mascot made the environment even more comfortable!
