About Barbara Urbanczyk

Dr. Urbanczyk is a clinical psychologist who has been licensed in the state of Ohio since 2014. A native of northeast Ohio and the daughter of Polish immigrants, she attended Harvard University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She went on to earn her master's degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver where she specialized in psychological assessment and psychodynamic theory. She completed her predoctoral internship and doctoral fellowship at Counseling and Consultation Service at The Ohio State University where she continued her career as the assessment coordinator and then assistant director of embedded services before joining Providers for Healthy Living. Dr. Urbanczyk's professional interests include neuropsychology, psychological assessment, and working with university students.
