Dr. Egan’s patients in Rockwall, Rowlett, Greenville and Terrell, Texas, benefit from her specialty in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, whether they need thyroid surgery, a hernia repair, weight loss surgery, or any other type of surgical intervention.
Dr. Egan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia, then completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She stayed in Dallas to finish her internship and residency training in general surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center.
Throughout her education, Dr. Egan served in leadership positions and received numerous awards, scholarships, and honors, including SEC Student Athlete of the Year. She was the starting goalkeeper on the University of Georgia soccer team during her college years. She has enjoyed transitioning her competitiveness and desire to improve from the soccer field into the operating room.
Outside of work, Dr. Egan enjoys playing golf, crossfit, and cooking.

Dr. Egan over the procedure I need and made sure I understood everything. She seemed very interested in my health and her staff was extremely helpful from filling out paperwork to explaining the next steps.
Very concerned and goes through every detail of what's going to happen before and after procedure.
Dr. Egan was personable, efficient, explained steps along the way, checked my comfort during the whole procedure.

Dr. Egan and staff are awesome! From the front desk to back office I was listened to and treated with kindness and compassion. Dr. Egan took the time to listen to my concerns, answered all my questions, and provided a clear treatment plan. The office was modern, clean, and well-organized. The entire visit was efficient and well-coordinated. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Egan and their team to anyone seeking top-notch medical care!

Dr. Egan was great as always. She was genuinely excited with my progress from my surgery and had a vested interest in how I was doing. My only complaint was my wait was a little longer than normal but that did not affect my overall experience with Dr. Egan.

Dr. Eagan is such a well educated person, she puts you at ease right away. I was impressed with her knowledge of the stomach and by how she will take the burning in it away. Her office is SO pretty, and her mannerism so confident I’m impressed with her and am now ready for surgery!
