Other than the appearance of the cabinets in the room where I was everything was excellent the cabinets could use some touching up since they are chipped and scratched and that does not lend itself to a professional look
Asher Kupperman, MD, is a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery at Alta Orthopaedics, with locations in Solvang, Santa Barbara, and Oxnard, California. Dr. Kupperman was born at Cottage Hospital and raised in Santa Barbara. He attended Vieja Valley, La Colina, and graduated valedictorian from San Marcos High School, where he captained the basketball team. As the son of two doctors, it was always his dream to return to Santa Barbara as a physician so that he could care for the community that raised and cared for him.
He majored in molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale University and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Following his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Kupperman completed specialty fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He also trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and New York-Presbyterian Hospital of Cornell Medical School.
He has treated many professional athletes, including members of the New York Giants, Knicks, and Mets, the New Jersey Devils, a Wimbledon Tennis Champion, a US Open Golf Champion, and many world-renowned artists and musicians.
While living in Nashville, Dr. Kupperman fell in love with his beautiful wife, Elizabeth. He enjoys spending time with her and their young son, Lev, and is always on the lookout for a pick-up game of basketball.

Vibe was relaxing was greeted properly. The assistant was great. Smiles all around. Dr was awesome didn’t sugar coat it which goes a long way with me. Thought I was gonna lose the finger. Surgery and some pins.

Dr A.Kupperman is lovely and gracious !! I was disappointed with the medical assistant. In passing, my mother mentioned that she has cancer and that she is a bit slower lately. The MA literally did not remark nor skip a beat in continuing with the in having my mom sit down in the office — — disappointing to see that lack of empathy

Everyone is so polite and helpful every time I go to see the doctor they are always ready to answer questions wouldn’t go to any other doctors.

Dr.Kupperman listens, is caring and gentle. He’s knowledgeable and skilled. I love his sense of humor and laugh. I have never felt rushed. Would recommend him to anyone experiencing problems with their hands.
