Dr. Laurel is board certified in General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She attended medical school at Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Laurel then completed her training at LSU-New Orleans, where she served as Chief Resident of both the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
