Certified physician assistant Anne Peanasky, PA-C, is dedicated to helping patients in Santa Barbara, Oxnard, and Solvang, California, return to a healthy, active life through orthopaedic care. She practices from the convenient office locations of Alta Orthopaedics.
Anne graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. During her time there, she swam on the UCSB Division 1 swim team. She worked as an EMT before attending graduate school.
She went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2018. After earning her master's, Anne returned to Santa Barbara. She's proud to be able to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care to the community.
As a former collegiate athlete, Anne has a unique perspective on orthopaedic care and understands the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. She takes the time to listen to her patients' goals and works collaboratively to help them achieve an improved quality of life.
When she's not caring for patients at Alta Orthopaedics, Anne enjoys spending her time surfing, cooking, cycling, swimming, and running.

Anne was polite and professional. She read my X-rays and compared them with X-rays from two different past years, noting no discernible differences. She suggested getting a lumbar MRI and gave me a referral.

They know what they are doing at Alta, trust them. Anne is impeccable with the hyaluronic knee shots, 3 in each knee over 3 weeks. They take the discomfort away for a while. If you are active and have knee issues, make an appointment.

accident on only road to office; called and received a reply immediately, that my PA would wait for me even though I would be late. So important to me because this shot was 1 of 3, so all other appts would have to be changed, besides the healing process set back. Grateful for such an accommodation.
