About Ann-Marie Valdez

Ann Marie Valdez is a TMS therapist and patient liaison at Mindful TMS Neurocare Centers, providing comprehensive psychiatric and neurological care to people in the River North neighborhood of Chicago, Crystal Lake, Wheaton, and Hinsdale, Illinois. 

Ann Marie believes that mental health awareness is incredibly important. As a Hispanic, she knows that issues like depression and anxiety are rarely talked about in her community and elsewhere. This knowledge (and the fact that she has a family member with a mental health condition) inspired her to pursue a career in psychiatry. 

As a TMS therapist, Ann Marie administers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and other neuronavigational treatments. She loves getting to know her patients and strives to provide the best possible medical care so that they can lead happy and healthy lives. 

Ann Marie knows that asking for help can be scary, but it’s absolutely worth doing so. She welcomes anyone suffering from behavioral or mental health issues to Mindful TMS Neurocare Centers.
