After completing medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. Herron proceeded to Boston University Medical Center for her internal medicine residency. She returned to her roots in the South and completed a nephrology & hypertension fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Herron joined Southern Kidney Specialists in September 2020, and she has clinics at St Thomas West and in Murfreesboro. She serves as Medical Director for US Renal Care Dialysis of Cool Springs. She is available to see patients that are admitted to Summit Medical Center, Centennial Medical Center, Williamson Medical Center, Saint Thomas Midtown, and Saint Thomas West Hospitals.

Dr. Herron is an outstanding doctor and person! She takes her time with explanations and is always courteous answering my questions. Office staff is also very nice. I am very happy to have her as my doctor and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nephrologist.
Dr. Herron and staff are very caring and never seem to try and rush through your visit, that being said sometimes you may have to wait but just know they are taking the time to give individual care to their patients.
