Dr. Jacob is an outstanding podiatrist. I came to her about 3 months after sustaining an injury to my foot, after being told by several doctors and another podiatrist that it was just a sprain. By the time I found Dr.Jacob, I waShow mores tired of being in pain and needed answers. She immediately got to the root of the cause, saw I had broken a small piece of bone when others couldn’t see it. She tried a number of remedies before deciding ultimately, I would need surgery. It was a quick process and she kept me well informed about the procedure and healing journey. I’m now going on three months post-op, and feeling 10x better than I did before surgery. I am so thankful for Dr Jacob and her medical team. They are all patient, kind and compassionate and I would recommend her to anyone having foot issues.

Dr. Jacob, originally from Milton, Wisconsin, received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater. She continued her education at Kent State University in Cleveland, previously known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, earning her doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery. During her residency, Dr. Jacob trained extensively at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, as well as at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She now teaches surgical residents in the metropolitan Detroit area and local high school students.
Following residency, Dr. Jacob trained in advanced surgical techniques, including ankle joint replacements and minimally invasive surgery. She is especially passionate about her clinical interests including: pediatrics, total ankle replacements, complex foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, new technology, ankle sprains, and arthroscopic procedures.
Dr. Jacob enjoys art, hiking, archery, and gardening when not caring for her patients. She shares furry children with her husband Tom. Their dogs, Pepper & Cocoa, will sometimes be in the office greeting patients and easing their anxiety.

Dr. Jacob did a thorough exam, ran some tests, and went though all the X-rays. She formulate a plan to help me feel better. She is awesome!

Friendly staff and nice clean environment. I didn’t have to wait long for the doctor. Dr. Jacob was personable, professional and explained my condition in relatable terms. She provided me with a sample medication and gave me strategies I can use to minimize pain from flare ups. I was pleased to see she had high school students shadowing her as part of their classes demonstrating a commitment to her community.
