She also brings extensive knowledge and incomparable technique to total ankle replacement and revisional foot surgery. Dr. Jacob, originally from Milton, Wisconsin, received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater. She continued her education at Kent State University in Cleveland, Ohio, earning her doctorate from the College of Podiatric Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Jacob trained extensively at the University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic during her schooling, as well as at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She now teaches surgical residents in the metropolitan Detroit area.
Following residency, Dr. Jacob studied advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery and ankle joint replacements. She is especially interested in pediatrics, ankle replacements, reconstructive surgery, complex foot and ankle deformities, and arthroscopic procedures.
Dr. Jacob enjoys art, hiking, archery, and gardening when not caring for her patients. She is married and has many pets.

Wonderful experience at this practice. Dr. Jacob took the time to explain the situation thoroughly and gave us some conservative options. She has a wonderful personality and makes you feel at ease. Wish we had known of her sooner!

There are no words to describe just how fantastic a doctor she is! Dr. Jacob is one of a kind. A very knowledgeable doctor who looks out for your entire health through your feet. She has a top notch team that she teaches as well as leads by example. Not to mention her fantastic bedside manner and outstanding sense of humor! This last item is the first on the shelf if anything serious arises. Also, Katie her office manager (who has been with her since Day 1) keeps the entire practice humming! She is equally amazing! I recommend Dr. Jacob and her staff to anyone with a foot issue. You won't find anyone better!
