The previous times weren’t solely due to the pain that I enduring but mostly because of my diagnosis at the time wasn’t widely understood and therefore making me feel quite alone. However, due to Dr. Lange’s specialization, knowledge and experienced caring team, there is hope. They made me and my family feel so comfortable before and after the surgery. that feel in good hands.
Dr. Lange takes plenty of time to listen to questions and answer them thoroughly in a way that is easy to understand. He offers options for treatments and discusses the plusses and minuses for each. Very happy with Dr. Lange.
Andrew Lange, MD, FACP provides comprehensive gastroenterology care at Wake Endoscopy. He is proud to provide a compassionate approach to patient care for the communities of Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina.
Dr. Lange grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and then went on to obtain a Master of Science in physiology from Georgetown University. He pursued medical training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Medical Honor societies while studying at Tulane.
Following his graduation, Dr. Lange completed his internal medicine residency at Yale University. He remained on the medical staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital as an attending physician in hospital medicine. Dr. Lange completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic in the Boston area before joining Wake Endoscopy in 2022.
Dr. Lange’s clinical interests include eosinophilic esophagitis, colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and hepatology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts on topics in gastroenterology. He finds the most fulfillment when connecting with patients through active listening and compassionate care of the entire patient.
He lives in Cary with his wife and daughter. He is an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Liverpool Football Club. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, cycling, traveling, and toddler gymnastics classes with his daughter.

Dr. Lange takes time to listen and understand concerns. He has been open to other tests when the answer wasn’t obvious. Was also open to discussing holistic remedies. Great experience at Wake Endoscopy so far!

I found Dr Lang to be quite personable as a physician especially given the fact we just met. Others, Joe and Tammy, with whom I interacted with were kind, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Wake Endoscopy for this type of procedure.
Personable, an attentive listener, makes eye contact and answers all questions. Having recently relocated to this area, I was very nervous to meet a new gastroenterologist, Dr. Lange. Dr. Lange is extremely knowledgeable and takes all the time necessary to explain your condition and treatment options. He is patient and answers all of your questions.

Although this was my 1st visit w/Dr Lange, he was friendly and listened intensely to understand what I was in need of. Looking forward to see if he can help me get better.

He was very caring. Made me feel comfortable right away. And answered my questions. Didn’t act as if he were in a hurry like most doctors. I would recommend him to anyone

I absolutely love Dr Lange. I first met him in the Wilson office and have followed to Clayton and now the Raleigh office. He treats his patients with respect. In my opinion he is one of a very few to treat you like your a person and not a Chart number. That is very hard to find.
He answered all my questions and thoroughly explained what my issues were and how to fix them . I felt real good about having him as my Gastroenterologist when I left.
Dr. Lange, his medical staff and the administrative personnel were all wonderful. Very professional as well as extremely personable.

Dr Lange is amazing! I have seen other doctors for my severe issues with GERD but none that has taken the time to really talk to me. Dr Lange doesn’t just want to help you short-term- he wants to create a long-life plan for your health. Most doctors just put you on medication and that’s it. He prescribes medicine that I need but looks at the future to eventually get me off the medication. I love how he is never in a hurry- he really listens to you and all of your problems. I strongly recommend Dr Lange!
I was very impressed by Dr. Lange and all those that I had contact with during my procedure at Wakeendoscopy. I would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Lange and staff if you’re in need of an endoscopy or colonoscopy.
The entire experience ( ok, not the prep) was positive. Everyone seemed to come in at the right time and perform their role with courtesy, competence and efficiency. All of this despite the fact that I’d mixed up my appointment dates!
