Chronic disease management is a specialty of the Shah Medical Center team. They can diagnose and treat a variety of conditions that require long-term medical management. The physicians customize treatment plans for hypertension, high cholesterol, heart disease, and other chronic health conditions, to lower risk factors for serious health complications. Dr. Shyamani and the team values the importance of preventive care to reduce risk factors for cardiovascular disease and other chronic health issues. Preventive screening technologies, including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and echocardiograms, are available on-site to identify early signs of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions.

 

The team also provides sleep studies to identify the underlying cause of sleep disturbances and insomnia that may be a side effect of chronic diseases. For those at risk for colon cancer, the practice offers Cologuard® testing and referrals for colonoscopy. Shah Medical Center also provides annual physical exams to evaluate your overall health from year to year. Vaccinations are available to protect against complications from the seasonal flu, hepatitis, and other contagious viruses.
