About Dr. Amit Patel, MD

Dr. Amit M. Patel, MD is the founding interventional pain physician at Integrity Pain & Wellness in Scottsdale, AZ, Mesa, AZ, and Prescott, AZ. He is dedicated to returning patients to an optimal quality of life and has an unparalleled background. Following residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Anesthesiology and Critical Care, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Patel has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and scored in the 97th percentile on the Pain Management Board exam.

In addition to his academic training par excellence, Dr. Patel is also a Certified Independent Medical Examiner. Aside from his academic and professional accolades, he has a reputation for being a caring and precise diagnostician, who works in close partnership with his patients.

Dr. Patel continues to pioneer new and advanced techniques in Interventional Pain Management through his role as a clinical investigator for research trials.  He was the first physician to bring outpatient ketamine infusion therapy to Arizona, as well as Stellate Ganglion Blockade for PTSD.  Dr. Patel's vision for Integrity is to provide world-class interventional pain procedures to our patients while working to keep patient costs as reasonable as possible.
