I,ve been seeing Dr. Thacker on and off for about 2 years. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He is one of the few doctors that I have found to be genuinely interested in you and your problems. He never rushes you and his staff arShow moree all attentive and are kind and answers all your questions. I would recommend him to anyone who has a issue with their feet/ankle.

Dr. Thakrar earned his bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University, followed by an intensive foot and ankle focused residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital and Cook County Health and Hospital System in Chicago.
Dr. Thakrar received comprehensive training in operative and non-operative treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle. He has supplemented his training with an extensive amount of courses focused on foot and ankle internal and external fixation, wound care, and employs only the most effective evidence-based medical treatments. He is actively involved in the foot and ankle residency program at Weiss Memorial Hospital and takes pride in training resident podiatrists.
In his free time, Dr. Thakrar likes to spend time with his family, golf, and considers himself a foodie. A lifetime resident of the Chicagoland area, he grew up in Chicago’s Northshore and now resides in the Southwest suburbs.

Professional and answers all questions
Making new shoe inserts should help. My old ones are at lest 6-7 years old

He actively listens to you and really puts forth his thoughts and shares his opinions to you at the same time being very caring I only met with Dr. Thakrar one time but believe he is a very good doctor . Excellent service from Dr. Thakrar and his assistant on May 14th, 2024. Felt great after experiencing such professional care with the procedure to remove ingrown part of nail from big toe. Felt confidence that he knew what he was doing and did it so respectfully. Minimal pain and good follow up directions for healing. Doctor-patient approach very impressive. Marlene Panko
