About Ambresha Wilder, Social Worker

Ambresha obtained her undergraduate degree from Liberty University where she earned a bachelor’s in social work, after receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army. She went on to pursue her master’s degree in social work, with a clinical area of focus; and is currently licensed in the state of Texas and Maryland. Ambresha prides herself in the work she has done with mental and behavioral health while working within alcohol and substance use, domestic violence, adolescent, autism, and geriatric populations. Ambresha is relatable; knowledgeable and passionate about mental health. She has helped me reframe negative thought patterns by educating me on tools to confront negative self talk and not allow myself to spiral into darkness. Sessions feel like I am talking to a well educated; concerned friend who both listens intently and gives exceptional advice. If you are seeking a therapist that will provide holistic care; a calm presence and the skills to take control of your thoughts, I highly recommend.
