About Dr Ambreen Ashfaque, MD

Ambreen Ashfaque, MD, is an experienced varicose vein specialist on the team at Cardiac Center of Texas in McKinney, Texas. Dr. Ashfaque came on board with the Cardiac Center of Texas in December of 2010 but has been affiliated with the clinic since 2003.

Dr. Ashfaque is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she completed her internship and residency. In addition to her training, Dr. Ashfaque is also certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, furthering her list of professional accomplishments. 

In addition to seeing patients at the Cardiac Center of Texas, she also performs vein procedures at the Vein Clinic of Texas. Dr. Ashfaque is affiliated with Baylor Medical Center at McKinney. To better serve more of her patients, Dr. Ashfaque is fluent in English and Urdu.

Wonderful staff and doctors. All very professional, thoughtful and efficient. I would recommend text or email patients a video of procedure prior to their appointment to view if they would like to do so. I just may be more curious than some. Also, at my sonagram 2 students attended. They were very polite, however, I feel I should have been asked if it was okay for them to be there and practice on me BEFORE they were in the room. The procedure takes longer and I am being practiced on and used for instruction purposes, so a small thank you gift would seem appropriate.
