There's a stigma against mental health for a number of reasons, but a glaring issue is that a broken brain cannot be visualized as easily as a broken bone, and its cure is far more subtle as well. Mrs. Yount approaches mental health from a basis of medical Determinism, considering both nature and nurture.

When relocating to Memphis from the east coast, I was afraid it would take months or years to find a new provider. Lucky for me that I found Amanda early in my research, I am so glad I did. Amanda has such an incredible range in her modality and exceptional empathy in her care. The staff is lovely if you prefer in-office visits. I could not recommend this practice more.
