Amanda Woodall, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Interventional Psychiatry Group in Memphis, Tennessee.
Amanda earned her Doctorate of Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. Prior to that, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi.
Amanda works hard to build collaborative relationships with her patients and believes in the power of shared decision-making when developing a treatment plan. After check~in and a brief wait I was called in to see Dr. Pitts who is always waiting with a soft unassuming smile~And always allows me to enter Her office first with her hand guiding me to sit in my choice of seating~Dr. Pitts always waits a moment before entering into a conversation giveing me a chance to talk first If I would like ~She then Asks How have I been Doing and All of the Pych. questions of How She could be of Assistance to me with the same smile as She quietly assesses my demeanor ~ and quietly types on Her screen~Dr.Pitts allows me to talk and speak my emotions or ask questions~If she can answer~She does~If Not She will Say ~ I will have to Look into That and We will get answers or try something different~We will get you comfortable or find a method that works~ I truly Like Dr Pitts and feel very Comfortable talking with her ~ If my Meds do not work~ She will work with me until we find What works for me~

Today, it was packed in the waiting room. I thought maybe they’re behind and texted my husband that it may be awhile. However, I was brought back and was done before I knew it! I love the receptionist. She always greets me with a smile. The lady that checks weight and blood pressure was so fun and personable. And I enjoy Amanda. She is very to the point and I’m very comfortable discussing my health with her. I highly recommend this office.
