About Allison Whittaker, FNP-BC

Allison knew that she wanted to be a nurse from a young age as it integrated her interests in medicine and helping others. She earned her nursing degree from York College of Pennsylvania in 2014 and began her nursing career at a long- term care facility before moving to Boston in 2016. Once there, she fulfilled her dream of becoming a pediatric nurse, and then later, transitioned to working at an urgent care facility. She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2024. Throughout her nursing career, Allison realized that many areas of the traditional healthcare system needed improvement and became interested in holistic and integrative medicine. Allison has a particular interest in herbalism and completed an intensive clinical herbalism course in 2019. She is thrilled to have found a home at Lyphos where she can empower patients to take charge of their health and present multiple treatment options to create an individualized care plan.
