About Allison Haynes, DPT

Dr. Allison Haynes earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in 2007. While at Maryland she worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, which gave her an early interest in health and wellness. This passion led to a career in physical therapy. Allison received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in 2011. Allison is a certified manual therapist, and is also certified in trigger point dry needling through the American Dry Needling Institute. She combines her strong manual therapy background with a thorough movement assessment to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Allison has worked with a variety of orthopedic conditions with a focus on runners and endurance athletes allowing them to stay healthy through a vigorous training. She believes there is an art and a science to physical therapy and works with her patients to reach their goals and maintain a pain-free active lifestyle.

Allison Haynes is amazing as a physical therapist. She is very knowledgeable in a number of different techniques, and she knows how to use several for the benefit of the patient. She is also extremely caring -- a patient is not simply a "job to be done" but a person to be helped. And, she really does help. After each session I feel much, much better physically. Most highly recommended!
