About Dr. Allen Dyer, MD
Dr. Allen R. Dyer is professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and Vice-chair for education at The George Washington University. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University, then both his medical degree and a Ph.D. in religion and biomedical ethics at Duke University. He then completed psychiatry residency at Duke and psychoanalytic training at the University of North Carolina/Duke University Psychoanalytic Institute.
