Great place. My family always go there when we need a dermatologist. The PA that saw my son was wonderful. Very patient and explained everything on an easy way to understand it.
Allein Howard, PA-C, was a trauma and general surgery physician associate until a dermatologic physician associate treated her for a skin condition, sparking a fascination with the care. With her medical background, she was able to transition to her new field easily and join the team at Dermatology Associates of Central NJ, where she serves patients from their offices in Freehold, Union, and Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Her medical training began when she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Wagner College physician associate program in Staten Island, New York. Her skill for the medical field showed immediately; she graduated as valedictorian. After graduation, she spent three years working as a trauma and general surgery PA at Jersey Medical Center.
While she enjoyed this work, it was no match for the opportunity she saw to use her medical expertise to help people transform their skin and feel more confident. She is passionate about her dermatologic work and loves finding ways to help people discover their healthiest, most beautiful skin.

Excellent professional care and attention from Allein as always.
The experience with the provider who took my stitches out was fine. She did not however give me any post-appointment instructions. I did not need those as this is not my first procedure of the sort, but still feel she should have said something. She also did not mention my biopsy results and I forgot to ask. The front desk was another story however. They are constantly confused on the times of appointments and claim I am late where I’m not. This appointment was “moved” to earlier according to one of the front desk people and no one told me. She claimed it was an issue with one of the provider’s schedules but no one thought to call me. This happens all the time and is quite annoying and unprofessional.
