Alicia R. Walls, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and child development. She treats patients at THINK Neurology for Kids in Sugar Land, Texas.
Dr. Walls majored in biology and psychology with a chemistry minor for her undergraduate studies at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, earning a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 2006, she enrolled at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston to complete her medical degree.
Dr. Walls undertook her residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital from 2010-2013. She served as chief resident of the pediatric residency program for a further year and was awarded the Marnie Rose Award for being the most compassionate and dedicated resident.
Dr. Walls worked as a primary care pediatrician with Town Center Pediatrics for eight years before joining THINK Neurology for Kids. She holds certification from the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Walls loves spending time with her husband and two sons, both very active baseball players. If she’s not in the office, she can most likely be found at the ballpark. She also has a passion for traveling and has volunteered overseas, including in Africa and Sri Lanka. Dr. Walls enjoys scuba diving, running, and playing with her silly dog, Cocoa.

Dr. Walls was just as sweet, understanding and compassionate as she always is. She knows how to work with children and with parents. Plus she is never pushy about starting on medications as first line of treatment. We highly recommend her as a knowledgeable pediatric neurologist.

Prior to our visit, I prayed to God to give our family the right people to help our daughter. After we saw Dr. Walls, I was reassured that God still listens to us as He gave our daughter a doctor who’s very compassionate, thorough and has amazing bedside manners! One of her staff, named Maura, was also nice & friendly.. My baby to my surprise who has heightened stranger anxiety, smiled, laughed and clapped her hands around Dr. Walls & Maura. Dr. Walls made my daughter feel very comfortable, she took time to make sure my daughter understood her condition. She left the office feeling happy, and so was I.

My experience was great. He is a good doctor and the place is amazing and very helpful.
My only complaint was they waited until the Friday before my sons Monday morning appt to send the paperwork that I had to fill out and return before the virtual appt.
Very kind staff and doctor, everyone was very inclusive and positive.

The entire Think team is awesome and really good at making sure the kids are comfortable and all about them. Each person there is very interactive with everybody who walks through those doors. Dr. Walls is an amazing God-send to my family and very passionate about what she does. We love being apart of the Think Family and will definitely be returning and recommending.
Dr Walls was so professional and we could tell she is passionate about what she does. She spent a long time in the room explaining and teaching making sure we had all our questions answered. Fist time in a long time I have seen exceptional bedside manner, compassion and felt she truly cared. My teenager even said she was “so cool”.
