Alexandra Hendricks, DMD, is a board-certified pediatric dentist at Hendricks Dental Specialists in Brentwood, Tennessee. Her friendly demeanor helps the practice’s youngest patients relax and feel comfortable as they get the routine dental work they need to stay healthy or improve the health of their teeth.
Dr. Hendricks attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine before completing a residency in pediatric dentistry. Today, she continues to stay informed of modern advancements in pediatric dentistry through professional memberships in the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society.
At Hendricks Dental Specialists, Dr. Hendricks sees kids from the time they get their first tooth onward. She provides gentle examinations and cleanings as well as preventive care like fluoride treatments and sealants. She also treats pediatric complications like broken teeth and cavities.
Dr. Hendricks and her husband, colleague Robert Hendricks, DMD, MPH, are high school sweethearts, parents, and dog lovers. They have two children and enjoy working together at Hendricks Dental Specialists.

Holly the hygienist was fine. Dr. Herberich showed very little interest— he continued with a personal conversation with the hygienist throughout the short exam. However my biggest gripe is with the front desk—they are very rude.

Dr. Jonathan was incredibly accommodating. Not only did he answer every one of my questions so that I could make an informed decision, but he also walked me through an understanding of my insurance benefits. Very thankful for a caring provider!

Dr Jonathan, He is very kind, friendly came in checked my teeth he was very attentive takes his time does not rush and takes the time to ask if I have concerns.
My children have been going there for 3 years, and I've never had an issue before this year, everyone there has been great with the exception for one brunette lady at the front desk. Unfortunately this last visit just didn't sit right with me. I really didn't appreciate that my childrens dentist found it necessary to reach out to DCS due to my child claiming his grandfather punched him in the mouth. I understand that as a place of business there are certain obligations, and protocols, however, due to the fact my child is 7 years old and outwardly over dramatic at times, i feel as though i should have been notified about these allegations. The allegations were not against myself or my child's father, therefore the dentist should have had enough respect to at least let me as the mother know what my child said about his grandfather, or at least considered the fact that grandparents do like to play with their grandchildren, and boys sometimes like to "rough house".
I went in this week to have a scan done for an occlusion guard. I was incredibly impressed with the updated protocol and choices. Mostly I was impressed and thrilled with Dr. Jonathan’s friendly bedside banner and the information given. I wish I could remember the tech’s name, Kristin or Kirsten maybe. She was wonderful as well. A very positive experience and I’m so happy, they are my providers.
Sharron’s bridge came out. He made quick arrangements to see her and fix it. He is so caring. The best!
My daughters much prefer going to the dentist than the doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Johnathan since he came to the practice. This past week I saw him for a check up and I believe my hygienist’s name was Holly. They both make a great team!
