Dr. Polesin is excellent in everything she does. She is the most compassionate doctor i’ve ever known. She gave me a cortisone injection in my neck in several places for a pinched nerve and dizziness caused by a surgery done 6 weeShow moreks ago. She said it could take a couple weeks before it would help. The very next day both symptoms were gone. I was so happy because now i can finally drive and i need physical therapy 2 to 3 times a week. Dr Polesin is the best and i highly recommend her!
Dr Polesin was just wonderful. I felt easy speaking with her and she was very thorough going thru my history. The staff is also friendly and you can really feel at ease in their office. Dr. Polesin gave me exercises I can do easilShow morey at home for my condition which works well for me. Definitely would recommend.

After graduating from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, she completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian – The University Hospital of Columbia & Cornell, serving as a Chief Resident. Dr. Polesin specializes in helping individuals recover from acute and chronic injuries. Met Dr. Polesin today. Found her to be amazing and pleasant. She understands my concerns and we are working on a plan that ican be comfortable with. It has been a long journey for me and listening to her today explain to me what is going on with my body is life changing. She understands pain along with how, why and when it happens.
All personnel from the receptionist to the doctor were excellent in their ability to be patient, direct and informative with their findings and our questions.
My wife is a patient of Dr. Alan and she told me to see her after I had a bad experience with another Doctor from another practice. When Dr. Alena walked through the door she knew my case exactly what treatment I should start with. I knew right off the bat I was in good hands.
Dr. Polesin spends as much time as needed with her patient and explains what she feels is the problem and the solution that will help.
