Alejandro Osuna, Foreign MD., is the Founder of the Centro Andino de Reproduccion Asistida, former CEO and skilled Infertility Specialist. He has a Subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecology & Oncology, Ultrasound, and Obstetrics & Gynecology; he has over 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of female benign and malignant pathology and the infertility field. He has published over 10 abstracts and articles.
Originally from Philadelphia. Dr Osuna earned his Bachelor of Science in the Colegio La Salle in Merida City, Venezuela. He graduated from Medical School at The Universidad De Los Andes. Languages spoken: Spanish/English.
He completed his Internship and Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Hospital Universitario De Los Andes in Merida City, Venezuela. He went on to complete his Fellowship in Gynecology & Oncology at the Padre Machado Hospital (the most important Cancer Center in Caracas the Capital of Venezuela) and Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at The Centro Andino De Reproduccion Asistida.
Before entering Private Practice, he served in the Venezuelan Society of Cancer from 1997 until 2011 and in the Andes Autonomous Institute University Hospital from 1997 until 2008 as a Specialist in Gynecology Oncology and as an Associated Professor of the Andes University (Ad Honorem 1997-2004).
Member of various professional Organizations and Medical Societies, Former President of Southwestern Venezuelan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Former President of Rural Physicians and Residents of the state of Merida, Venezuela.
He has participated and interviewed in several Radio & Television programs as well as Public & Private Schools and Universities concerning issues related to Female Infertility and the prevention of Gynecologic Cancer.
Currently living in Boca Raton, Florida he began his studies as a registered nurse and completed his master's degree as a nurse practitioner in the USA between 2019-2024 is a person committed to his patients and high standards of care and service. Married for 30 years and father of three children of whom he is very proud of, all 3 of them currently university students with excellent performance in their studies and incredible human qualities.
