Dr. Aslam performs the latest interventional cardiology procedures for coronary and peripheral interventions, the latest treatments for vein disease, and pacemaker implantations for cardiac rhythm disorders
Aside from his practice, Dr. Aslam is often hand-selected to participate as an investigator in national cardiology trials, testing new therapies, and treatments. Dr. Aslam plays an active role in the advancement of health care delivery in the Northwest Houston area and was elected by his peers as President of the Medical Staff for the Tomball Regional Medical Center from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Aslam has been nominated as Houston Top Doc in Cardiology by H Texas Magazine for seven years.
Dr. Aslam is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of internal medicine, adult cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He is certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. In addition, he is distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience as a patient of Dr. Aslam. While the office staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and never made me feel rushed, my interactions with Dr. Aslam were unfortunately quite the opposite. My visits with Dr. Aslam were incredibly brief, lasting no more than 10 minutes each. He was dismissive of my concerns, particularly regarding a specific reaction I experienced during a stress test. Despite my repeated explanations that this reaction was not related to the medication, he insisted it was and refused to acknowledge my prior experiences. Furthermore, Dr. Aslam was not thorough in reviewing my test results. He quickly skimmed over labs, including elevated results, without proper discussion or a plan of action. My medical records from his office also contained inaccuracies that had to be corrected. The online portal is largely ineffective, lacking crucial information such as images from testing and complete results. Obtaining comprehensive records requires contacting the office directly. I sincerely did not appreciate Dr. Aslam's dismissive and neglectful manner. His lack of attention to detail and patient care is concerning and could potentially have serious consequences. I strongly advise others to carefully consider their choice of cardiologist and seek a more attentive and thorough physician. I highly recommend Dr. Baig off of Dotson road (by Willowbrook Methodist Hospital) as an alternative. I hope this review helps other patients make informed decisions about their healthcare.

The receptionist was friendly and very clear about the forms that need to be filled out. When we got into the room Isaac Tran was very thorough and professional. He was pleasant and gave the impression he cared about my situation. When the doctor came in he greeted me and my wife with a smile. His assistant Mindy was also had a nice disposition.

Northwest Heart Center is run like a well oiled machine. Everyone seemed very efficient at their jobs. Everyone was kind and very polite , which is hard to find in the medical field these days. Dr. Aslam is a kind man and he explained everything for my procedures. He also listened to my questions . I did not feel rushed like I do at many doctors offices. Glad I was referred to Dr Aslam .
I just moved to Tomball and had appt with Dr Aslam . I get anxious and nervous but my whole experience was so good. His nursing were professional and knowledgeable. Dr was great. He is thorough but patient with you. If you want a good Cardiologist then he is the one.
