Adrienne Schmidt, MD, is a dedicated OB/GYN who enjoys helping women thrive in all stages of their life, from adolescence to menopause and beyond. At New England Women’s Healthcare, Dr. Schmidt offers compassionate and experienced health care to women living in Woburn and Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Dr. Schmidt is originally from Morgantown, West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University’s School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Schmidt took a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraception, health promotion, and patient education. She has also conducted research on the effects of body mass index (BMI) on pregnancy outcomes in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles.
As an OB/GYN, Dr. Schmidt has been recognized by patients for her warm, open communication and attention to detail. With her sincerity and dedication to patients’ well-being, she has received awards for outstanding patient care and excellence in minimally invasive gynecology techniques.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family, hiking, meditating, enjoying quiet moments with a cup of coffee, and traveling around New England and internationally.

Dr Schmidt has an amazing bedside manner and really communicates and explains exactly what is happening during the procedure. I expect to have her as my physician for a long time to come!!

While I am very satisfied with Dr. Schmidt's care, I was not happy that I had to wait for more than half an hour to be seen. Tbis happened at the Woburn office too before.
Dr. Schmidt was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, supportive and responsive. I didn’t like the confusion on the schedule side which was figured out but I have always had good experience at the Wilmington location. The staff, doctors and nurses care about the patients and listen to their concerns and needs. Thank you Dr. Schmidt for today!!
I could not recommend this practice and Dr. Schmidt more. She is a fabulous doctor - kind, patient, and open minded. The practice is also wonderful and all the staff I have interacted with, from ultrasound techs to those in the lab and front desk, everyone is positive and helpful.

Listened well. Accomodated mg hearing disability with empathy and support. Educated me well
The women at the front desk who was also the one who was the phlebotomist was kinda short and rude when I walked in and when the other staff told her that I needed blood drawn she was very short with them twice but fine when the Dr came in to talk to her. She was better with me when she drew my blood and was very talkative. I work in a medical office and would be upset if someone was talking to my staff or their coworkers like she had.

Dr Schmidt was super sweet, she really took the time to get to know me and made sure she answered all of my questions. This is the best experience I’ve had at an OBGYN.
I usually don't like telehealth appt but Dr Schmidt some how mKes a call personable. I'm changing meds which men's I'm decreasing one and adding another,which takes time. I feel she asjs all the right questions and she aswers all mine. A great ongoing experience.
