About MD Aatman Shah

Dr. Aatman Shah was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from MIT and then went on to Stanford Medical School. He completed his dermatology residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and then completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Facial Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. This fellowship is unique amongst Mohs programs in that it included a rigorous integration of cosmetic surgery, facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, laser surgery, and dermatologic surgery. Given this unique blend of cosmetic and functional surgery experience, Dr. Shah is able to provide the best possible functional and aesthetic results for his patients.

Dr. Shah is an avid painter with an impressive repertoire. He was commissioned by the City of Boston to paint murals on old, historic buildings and by private collectors for small oil works. Aatman brings this unique, artistic eye to his cosmetic surgery practice and is able to blend art and medicine at the highest level. Dr. Shah is excited to be back in Dallas with his wife and family. Much to his wife’s chagrin, Dr. Shah is a connoisseur of cringeworthy dad jokes. On a typical Saturday night, you can find Dr. Shah watching boxing/MMA or cooking with family.
